Importance & Benefits
Our Atlanta Reflexology practice is based on the pure form tradition of the Ingham Method - developed by Eunice Ingham, the Mother of Reflexology. It is based on the theory that there are reflex areas on the hands and feet that correspond to every gland, organ and part of the body. Stimulating these reflexes has one or more of the following effects on the corresponding area:
Our Atlanta Reflexology practice therefore offers a holistic approach to addressing a wide range of physical and emotional concerns, from chronic pain to sleep disorders. By stimulating reflex, reflexologists can help restore balance and harmony within the body, promoting relaxation, alleviating discomfort, and supporting overall well-being. Whether you're seeking relief from foot pain, back pain, arthritis, or migraines or want to increase foot flexibility and promote better circulation, Reflexology offers a gentle and effective path to healing.

Foot Health
At our Reflexology practice in Atlanta we offer a holistic approach to improving foot health. Reflexology helps improve nerve flow, circulatory flow, and energy flow to all parts of the foot. It therefore has been shown to help improve foot pain, neuralgia, plantar fasciitis, bunions and swelling.
Plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain, results from inflammation of the plantar fascia—a thick band of tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot. By stimulating specific reflexes, reflexologists can help alleviate tension, reduce inflammation, and improve flexibility in the plantar fascia, relieving pain and discomfort. At our Atlanta Reflexology practice, we have many such successful cases.
Pain Management
At our Reflexology practice in Atlanta, we offer a safe and non-invasive holistic therapy for pain management. Reflexology has been shown to be effective for arthritis, back pain, migraines, and foot pain including gout and plantar fasciitis. Reflexology offers relief by stimulating specific reflex points as well as stimulating the nervous and circulatory systems. It also increases the production of endorphins that reduce pain and increase a sense of well-being.
Our Atlanta Reflexology practice also has successful cases with neuralgia, numbness, and tingling in the feet, and neuropathy associated with diabetes and chemotherapy treatments. Reflexology has also been show to help with chronic pain and autoimmune conditions like fibromyalgia.
Hormonal balance
At our Reflexology practice in Atlanta, we offer reflexology sessions to support the body’s hormonal systems - adrenals for cortisol management, thyroid for metabolic health, pancreas for blood sugar balance, ovaries/testes for sex hormones, and the pituitary/pineal gland for overall health and well-being.
Our Atlanta Reflexology practice also offers support with women’s health including PMS, menopause and fertility. By stimulating specific reflexes associated with the endocrine system, ovaries, and uterus, Reflexology can help regulate the production and release of hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and oxytocin. These hormones play a crucial role in regulating the menstrual cycle, ovulation, and overall reproductive health.
Anxiety & Insomnia
One of the most effective applications of Reflexology is to calm the nervous system. Since 75% of all illnesses are linked to stress, our Atlanta Reflexology practice can help with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and sleep problems. It can also help with digestive problems, headaches, high blood pressure, muscle tension and pain, and blood sugar imbalances.
Increasing number of studies show that Reflexology is an effective non-pharmacology intervention for depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances. In one study, foot reflexology reduced pain, anxiety, and fatigue and improved sleep quality in pregnant women. In another study, applying foot reflexology to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery reduced pain, anxiety, and fatigue and improved sleep quality.
